How can you not love these wings air fried in a rich peach barbecue sauce?  They are slightly crispy on the outside and out of this world deliciously moist on the inside. I love this sauce recipe. You can make it mild or spicy…. You can’t go wrong with this recipe!  A real crowd pleaser.

Honey Peach Barbecue Wings

Pre-Cook about 2 lbs of wings in air fryer at 400 degrees for 10 minutes.

Then drain the excess water from the drip pan. Flip wings and continue cooking for 13 more minutes.

Remove wings from the air fryer and brush on the peach barbecue sauce.

Put back in the air fryer and cook for 3-5 more minutes until sticky and sweet with a temp of 165 degrees.

Peach Barbecue Sauce

1 cup tomato sauce

1/4 cup apple cider vinegar

1/4 cup packed brown sugar

1/4 cup honey

2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon kosher salt

Pinch of cayenne pepper (optional)

2 fresh peaches, peeled and chopped

1/2 cup peach preserves or peach jam

To make it, you’ll add your tomato sauce, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, honey, Worcestershire sauce, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and chopped peaches to a medium saucepan set over medium heat.

Give it a quick stir to combine it and then let it come to a low boil. As it boils, it will thicken and the chopped peaches will soften and infuse the sauce with a sweet, peach flavor.

TIP:

Allow the sauce to continue to cook until the it coats the back of spoon, about 10 minutes. Then, stir in the peach preserves until well combined.

Remove the sauce from the st0ve and let it cool slightly before tasting. Then, give it a taste and adjust to your preference.

At this point, it is ready to serve immediately or store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.  Makes 1 ½ cups.
