You probably don’t know this yet but there's a ton of recipes you can make with these wonderful little Hawaiian rolls. They’re not only perfect for sliders. I make all kinds of things with them. I fill them with custard for a delicious Boston cream donut. I make buttery croutons for a delicious salad. I use them in my breakfast casseroles and my Thanksgiving stuffing. And they are just perfect for making little grilled cheese sandwiches to dip in your tomato soup!
Hawaiian Roll Grilled Cheese
1 package King’s Hawaiian Original Sweet Slider/Dinner Rolls
1 stick (1/ cup) softened butter
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon Parsley, basil, or dried Italian seasoning
Cheese (Cheddar, Mozzarella, American or Monterrey Jack)
Your favorite Tomato Soup
Mix softened butter with garlic powder, parsley, or dried
herbs. Set aside. Slice the rolls horizontally into
flat horizontal thirds.
Spread this mixture on the outer sides of the roll slices. Lay your cheese on the inside of the rolls. Put the top and the bottom rolls together to form a sandwich with the cheese in between.

Melt butter in a skillet and set the heat to medium high.
Toast your sandwiches until golden brown and then flip and let them fry gently until golden brown and gooey on the other side.
Serve with your favorite tomato soup! Yum!
