As you know I rarely endorse products and when I do, it's because I am so excited I want to share them with you. I am not the typical blogger that advertises for commission. That's why you will never find all those aggravating pop up ads all over my blog. But when I do find a product or merchant I love, I share that information with you. So I want to share my love of this company with you. Everything about them is as if we live in another time.... from their homemade meats and sweets and other goodies to the one-of-a-kind customer service they offer. My Mom used to make the best Ham loaf. It was her specialty and everyone loved it. I mean there was nothing else like it. So delicious in fact we could eat it everyday! But it has been the most challenging recipe for me to duplicate over the years. Oh, I come close....I have tried to make it many times but it's not the same.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

And then one day, I found the a product called Gene Wenger's Famous Ham Loaf at a local store and decided to try it. OMG. It was just like my Mom's ham loaf. Exactly like it. Not one bit of difference! 

 

 

Unfortunately, when I went back for more, they no longer carried it. So I called Mr. Wenger and told him how I loved the ham loaf. I spoke to Deana who works in their customer service department. Customer service unlike anything you will find today. The old fashioned kind with someone so kind and polite and professional. Stoltzfus is where I go when I want quality meat products like sausage, bologna, old fashioned scrapple, home made bacon, fresh ham, baked goods and of course Gene Wenger's Famous Ham Loaf. What is it about this company that I love? Its the way they treat the customers.
