Sausage and Cheesy Potatoes
I love this recipe. Not sure why I love it so much. I guess maybe
because it’s so easy to make. Or maybe
because I can have it ready in less than 30 minutes. Or maybe because it is
made up of only 4 ingredients that I always seem to have in my kitchen. It
could be because I’m a meat and potatoes girl and who doesn’t love potatoes and
sausage? Or maybe it’s just because it’s
just out of this world delicious.
Sausage and Cheesy Potatoes
1 package of Kielbasa Polish
Sausage or any smoked sausage
1 bag of Simply Potatoes brand Diced Potatoes with Onions
1 tablespoon olive oil
salt and pepper to taste
1 cup Monterrey Jack Cheese, grated (or your favorite cheese)
1 bag of Simply Potatoes brand Diced Potatoes with Onions
1 tablespoon olive oil
salt and pepper to taste
1 cup Monterrey Jack Cheese, grated (or your favorite cheese)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Slice
the sausage into rounds, not too thick. Add olive oil to a large
heavy skillet and set heat to medium high. Brown sausage until it just
begins to caramelize. Transfer sausage from skillet and to a plate lined
with paper
towels. Set aside.
Add potatoes to same skillet
and saute until brown and crispy on the outside. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Transfer potatoes and sausage
to a non-stick or foil lined baking sheet spreading them out as flat as possible. Sprinkle with cheese and bake for
about 15-10 minutes or until cheese is melted.
Enjoy!
